Yamagata Prefecture joined Local IoT Acceleration Labs directed by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and launched “Yamagata Prefecture IoT Acceleration Labs”. Professor Yoichiro Tanaka, Director of ICT Industry Collaborations, Research Institute of Regional Value Creation Management is appointed to the project director to strongly supports Yamagata Prefecture IoT Acceleration Labs as an industry-academy-government project.

The launching seminar of Yamagata Prefecture IoT Acceleration Labs was held on 15th September. About 120 participants widely from industry, local government, and academia joined the seminar. Project Director, Professor Tanaka, said in his greetings, we will generate technologies and encouraging cases of IoT integration for business prosperity.
